Within the framework of the OIC Public Employment Services Network (OIC-PESNET) Work Plan 2024-2026 and the Public Employment Services Capacity Building Programme (PES-CaB), SESRIC organised a Webinar on “Methodologies for Collecting, Analysing and Disseminating Labour Market Statistics” on 18 December 2024.

The webinar aimed to bring together experts and executives from French-speaking OIC countries to discuss best practices and challenges in collecting labour market data. It also delved into the various methodologies, tools, and techniques employed across different countries, including surveys, administrative records, and alternative data sources. Additionally, the webinar explored innovative approaches and technologies, such as big data and machine learning, to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of labour market statistics.
