Within the framework of its Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised a Training Course on “Data Dissemination and Communication Strategies” for the benefit of National Statistical Offices (NSOs) of the OIC countries on 18-19 June 2025 through an online video conferencing platform. The course brought together 93 participants from the NSOs of 32 OIC member countries.

Ms. Tiyas AMBARSARI, Senior Statistician, and Ms. Kunti PUSPITASARI, Public Relations Officer at BPS-Statistics Indonesia, delivered the technical sessions of the training course.

The training course covered the following topics:

• Introduction to Dissemination Statistics: Products and Services of Official Statistics
• Dissemination Channel
• Statistical Literacy Improvement Strategy: Statistics Education and Promotion
• Innovations and Continuous Improvements in Dissemination Statistics
• The Stages of Determining a Communication Strategy
