Within the framework of its Stock Exchanges Capacity Building Programme (SE-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with Borsa Istanbul, the Secretariat of the OIC Exchanges Forum (OICEF), organised a Training Course on “Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in OIC Capital Markets” on 21-22 April 2026.

The event featured comprehensive presentations from representatives of Borsa Istanbul, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Albaraka Tech Marketing, and Kuveyt Türk.

A total of 73 experts from national institutions across 15 OIC countries benefited from the training course. It aimed to explore the entrepreneurship ecosystem within OIC capital markets, with a particular focus on the evolving roles of exchanges and post-trade institutions.

The following topics were discussed during the training course:

• Entrepreneurship Ecosystems at OIC Exchanges;
• Venture Capital Investment Fund, Venture Capital Investment Trusts and Venture Capital Market (VCM) at Borsa İstanbul;
• BIST Private Market;
• Capital Market Inclusion for SMEs: Mechanisms and Support by IDX;
• Entrepreneurship and Strategic Partnerships in the Participation Finance Ecosystem;
• Innovation-Driven Startup Development and Corporate Partnerships;
• Startup Investments, Fund Management, and Value Creation Strategies

SESRIC launched the Stock Exchanges Capacity Building Programme (SE-CaB) in 2011, with a view to enhancing the capacities of human resources of the Stock Exchanges operating in the OIC Member Countries.
