SESRIC hosted a delegation from Bizim Afrika, a non-profit association working to empower African youth and communities in Türkiye, at its Headquarters in Ankara. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange information on their respective areas of work and to discuss prospects for cooperation in support of African OIC Member Countries.

During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on SESRIC's mandate and its activities in the fields of statistics, research, training, and technical cooperation, as well as the Centre's capacity-building programmes and initiatives implemented to support the socio-economic development. The discussion also highlighted SESRIC's role in facilitating knowledge exchange and institutional cooperation among relevant national institutions across the OIC region.

The meeting concluded with discussions on potential collaboration in areas of shared interest, particularly youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and skills development for young people in the African OIC Member Countries.
